It will soon be time to replace the brakes/rotors on my 300ZX. I don't take the car to the track, however it is driven with some spirit on quiet backroads from time to time.

The Brembo rotors seem to be a decent price and get good reviews. However brake pads seem to be all over the place. I'd like pads that are low dust and make no noise. My current pads are quiet, however they make huge amounts of dust-there are times when I brush against the back of the car and get black brake dust all over my clothes. I'd like to get some that are low/no dust.

If I had to trade off I would opt for more dust-noisy brakes really annoy me.

Any suggestions?

I have the slotted Brembo rotors with Akebono Ceramic pads. Working well. I have steel wheels with hub caps, but I do notice MUCH less dust than whatever pads that the dealer had put on.
The pads are rated a "low dust" and the brakes have been very quiet for me.

Hawk HPS pads are the best street pads I've seen.
Better braking hot or cold, minimal or no dust, and no noise. Very long lasting.
Don't waste your money on drilled/slotted rotors. Plain ones are much cheaper, and have many advantages.
