Brakes Overheating Revisited

My 2001 PT Cruiser has a front passenger side brake overheating (same but not as bad on the rear passenger side).

I have replaced the caliper, brake hose and added springs to the pads to reduce pad friction on the rotor. None of this has helped. Any suggestions?

The master cylinder may not be bleeding fluid back, through the port intended for that purpose. The port may be plugged, or it may not be releasing to the point that the port is uncovered. Check that the master is springing back, when released, and check that pedal height is correct, for a start.

Have you replaced the master cylinder?

If so, then you need to adjust the pushrod.
