brakes, my latest experience.

THANKS GUYS!!!! i again did brakes with my friend. this time, new rotors and pads for the Caddy rear brakes. armed with your knowledge, we put on the new rotors, which are coated grey, without removing the coating!! piece of cake! job was fast, I got to help and learn, and he got a discount on the original caddy parts. as usual, he wanted me to pay parts plus $40. i was happy to give him parts plus $120 and bring coffee and donuts.

I may say that the brakes, which are 2008 and 35,000 miles, were rusty! live in massachusetts, snow and salt.

nice stuff... how much was parts about?

In most cases a normal car with parts from normal part store runs about $100 to do front or rears.

original cadillac rear rotors and pads were $305. my friend got a small discount.


one of the rear rotors we removed was pretty rusty!!
