Any recommendations for brake pads for pick-ups? I need to replace the front pads on a 3/4 ton GMC, a Sonoma, and a Ranger. I'm not looking for the absolute best here, just a good upper mid-range pad.

I have NAPA, Auto Zone, O'Reilly, and Pep Boys handy.

I am a fan of Wagner Thermo Quiets. They make a nice pad. Very competitively priced.

IMO, the NAPA adaptive one is the best street pad on the market. Just a bit expensive.

PS: I own a LOT of trucks!

Another Wagner Thermoquiet fan. Few problems with noise, very low dust, decent pad life, and good performance - what's not to like? I have them on my Explorer and Jeep Cherokee right now. Also had them on my '99 F150 before I sold it too. Generally get about 60,000 miles or so on a set in mixed freeway and city driving.
