Hi Guys,

So again ... I looked closer at my options ... any only option is Front OEM rotors ... and limited selection of PADS

PADS:
OEM - they squeak !

POWERSTOP Z23
CENTRIC 10413490 Posi-Quiet; Metallic;
CENTRIC 10513490 Posi-Quiet; Ceramic;
CENTRIC 10013490 OE Formula

this is really only available to me ...
What should I order.

Cheers,

Are you trying for something under $20?

I've got Centric Ceramics coming mail order soon, will give a review.

I wish , actually they are all ~60$ just for fronts ...

what car?

There are auto manuals that will tell you the type of pad and rotors/drums that you should use. At the Napa store I work at there are 4 levels of pads from dirt cheap to ultra premium, but pads and rotors are best matched per oem manuals to prevent squeaking and premature rotor failure. I just had a mechancic explain that to me last week. sure you can mix and match and make it go on, but it may fail sooner then you want them to.

You can ask around about that matching pads and rotors...my 2 cents worth.

It's for Porsche Cayenne I guess that's why it's limited selection

Is this for your Panamera? Please, in the future, specify the car in question in every OP.

Centric C-Tek front rotors are available for well under $80 each on eBay. Part numbers 226.37069 and 226.37070

For pads, I'd go with either the OE formula, or the Posi-quiet ceramic.

Amazon has Pep Boys Prostop pads for only $29.99

Amazon also has EBC Bluestuff for $118, which is what I'd buy

This 360mm rotor that changes a little bit selection ...
No EBC, Hawks that are available

As for rotors there is Ctek available at almost same price as OEM

The OEm rotors are that cheap?

I have the Powerstop Z23 pads on my car front and rear and they actually do stop VERY well. My rotors are drilled and slotted so I am losing surface area to that and do still stop very well. They have pretty decent initial bite. As for noise, they are ceramic but I would say once every other week if driven daily they might squeak just for a second when backing out of my driveway. No complaints really,very pleased with them.

We have run a couple of sets of OEM pads and rotors on our Cayenne ('05). We have only had squeaks very occasionally. The overall performance and lack of fade has kept us from even considering non-OE pads/rotors. They work great and never fade. Our only complaint is the dust, but again, given the great performance of the OE combo, we can live with the dust.

I don't know what year yours is, or if there are different brakes in smaller engine cayennes.

Its the 958 S 4.8 V8 with 360mm rotors ..
Dust is insane ... but it does not bother me squeaks do ... and it looks like there is more users complaining

I will go with yellow stuff .. I couldn't find match before because they were listed for Turbo ... but according to EBC the calipers are same between turbo and s

Thank's

Well my Sub-$20, shipped, Centric pads showed up and they have GG friction which is pretty nice. Haven't been on the road with them yet.
