I recently did a brake job on my Sonata replacing pads, rotors and all associated hardware. The pads are Duralast Gold from AZ which were exchanged under "warranty." My issue is the pads slide up and down in the caliper bracket and making clunking sounds when going over bumps. I made some shims with a soda can and it helps, but I know this is not ideal. Is this common? Should I try exchanging the pads again? The braking performance and pedal feel are excellent.
