I bought these so I can pull the caliper off the vehicle and clean and paint it overnight. Will these stoppers stop the brake fluid from leaking. Don't want to end up with a mess in the morning. Not a fan of clamping the brake line with a C-clamp or ViseGrip.

They are not 4 of the same. Each is different and one for a banjo bolt.

I have a brake pedal depressor I bought for my old BMW that works pretty good. You just have to depress it a little and it stops the fluid from leaking out. It wedges between the seat or the steering wheel and has a caulk gun type mechanism to depress the pedal.

One time I wanted to exchange the caliper on the spot--why make two trips to the parts store? The brake used a banjo fitting. So I cut off a piece of bicycle inner tube and grabbed a simple clamp (for woodworking), put the two pieces of rubber over the banjo fitting, clamp over that, done.

Tossed the rubber when done as I knew brake fluid and rubber don't mix. Didn't care, every so often I'll cut up a tube for stuff like this.

not sure what I'd do for a non-banjo fitting, maybe vacuum line cap and tape.

at work we have some tappered rubber plugs that our paint shop uses , to plug tapped holes in parts so paint doesnt get in them , i have taken a few of them and they work great for brake lines and fuel lines , dont know where we got them from but thinking maybe mcmaster carr

I've heard Wes say on his YT channel that he bought some silicone plugs meant for powder coating. Said they work pretty well and should be cheap. Something like these I reckon:
