I recently purchased several Sunsong brake hoses from RA. One pair with the same part # consisted of hoses maded in two different countries, Thailand and China. They are very similar, but one difference is the bolt on the fitting for the caliper.
As shown in the photo, the bolt is solid on one hose (left), and is "split" on the other (right). Does anyone know if there is some engineering rationale for the bolt which has the split space in the middle?
