I’ve always used ATE Type 200 fluid. It’s the amber fluid same specs as the blue, dry boiling point of 536 F and wet bp of 392 F.

I’ve not been able to find it in 5 liter containers from my normal sources so I’m considering changing to Pentosin which has dry boiling point of 572 F. Wet bp unknown at least to me.

Would Pentosin be considered equal to better or worse than what I’ve been using? I change brale fluid yearly.

Car is 1997 993 C2S. Owners manual says Porsche brake fluid.

I more concerned about wet boiling point than dry bp.
