okay folk, let me pick your brains on this...1993 Dodge p/u Dakota 2.5, 5 speed 83k miles...now from what I can see it does not have the ABS brake system...
but the Brake light comes on...the Anti-lock lite is on, and I've seen ABS light up...most of the time this stuff is on, sometimes its off....I'll drive along and all of sudden its on.or maybe on when I first start driving...
I do have a notice I printed out from the web,about "some" Dodge P/U ABS vehicles were bilt with undersized brake return check valve and may cause brake failure in hard stops....So Itook it out and slammed on the brakes...hard several times,,,it stops true and square, but the lights stay on...But if this check valve should be replaced..is not that the dealers responsibility???? master cyclinder if full of fluid....and I had brake fluid replaced on it..2-3 months ago...this light coming on just started like 3 weeks ago...I don't know what to think...
