BP Visco Supreme Synthetic

It's in the United States now , Iowa for one place but only in 5w-30 and 10w-30 . Just curious ... is this stuff PAO ?

I saw this oil on the shelf at a local BP station over a year ago. I suspect it's Group III based since BP's definition of "synthetic" on their main corporate web site is a description of the hydrocracking and isodewaxing process.

Sorry for the revive but I came up with this data sheet. http://www.bp.com/liveassets/bp_internet/lubricants/bp_north_america/STAGING/local_assets/downloads/b/BP7992.pdf This really needs updating. Not a widely available oil though.

BP gas outlets are all over southern Michigan. They were bred life when Amoco purchased BP. Now even the Amoco stations are just about all gone.... all now bearing the BP name. Odds are, if you can find oil analysis for Amoco oils, the BP oils would likely be strikingly similar.
