Anyone know where to buy Tecumseh bowl gaskets that are actually thick enough and the right size to work? There are hundreds of ads for bowl gaskets, and what you get is flimsy, ill fitting junk. I also can't find gaskets for the little Chinese Huayi (snowblower and mower) carbs that are the right size. Seems like the Chinese manufacturers will make something (tens of thousands of somethings) that are the wrong size and American distributors go ahead and sell them, hoping that most of them never get returned.

Best bet,although its going to be painful to your pocket book is a mower dealer that sells a variety of small engine equipment
I've found the Stens rebuild kits and OEM Tecumseh kits to work best. Everything else is a gamble.
I failed to add that if you can find one of quality,get a spare as it is a part that really gets frustrating purchasing
