After suggestions from our website, I pulled the trigger and picked up two MG filters for both cars.
I do not live near an Oriellys so I made a road trip for some detailing products I had to have and towels too .

The filters seem consistent with adiquit pleats, no excess glue, the internal look fine. Maybe a bit like XP.

I am wrapping up my Valvoline Restore and Protect interval run on both cats. I have a couple of BOSS, and Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil filters left over. Óñe more Valvoline Restore and Protect interval left,. That oil works great. Internals are bright and shiny silver.
Anyway, I'm about to switch back to Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30 with these MGS fílters

I just looked at one today for my 21 6.7L Cummins for $11.65 excellent build I'm thinking of making the change next time when needed currently using a Donaldson Blue.

NAPA Golds are now made by PGI. I picked up a 1348 the other day. Made in Malaysia.
Hmmm... Didn't know that. What's the consensus on the new manufacturer? I'm pretty happy with the MicroGard, but wondering if the NAPA change made a difference.

The new Napa Golds have the same great quality as the other PGI made variants.

Go to media inspection where he states his opinion on which would do a better job at filtering, based on the microscope pictures. The Wix anyone can see has more holes. Guy is pretty honest and tells it like it is.

Good to know! The Vietnam version appears to be very well made. Depending on cost/sales, I'd use both the NAPA and Microgard. PGI builds a great filter.
