I'm thinking of ordering a couple of Bosch oil fiters (about 8 bucks a filter canadian) from a website in bulk so I can get the free shipping.

What do you guys think of this filter for a 2007 Acura RDX?

I've been using Wix (Napa Gold actually) and paying close to 13 bucks a filter.

For my MB diesel, I didnt like the build of the bosch compared to hengst and mann German filters.

That said, overall they are apparently a very good make, made by Champion labs (IIRC?) I dont think you can go wrong, and surely they are better than the [censored] honda filters.

Id also look at the purolator lines and the denso first time fit lines.

I've been reading bosch isn't that good in many other cars. So I will stay away.

They have denso oil filters for my other car, are these any good? Right now I am using OEM Honda s2000 filters in my 99 prelude (toyo roki filters) but I'm running low on them.

I'd stay with the honda filters for your honda (toyo roki or filtec but not fram) unless you want to try wix which I'd recommend the 51356. It has the best beta ratio of 2/20=6/19 out of the other optional wix filters and any other brand I can find for $6. From my experience it filters better than the hondas and it costs more too but you could buy them in bulk to cut costs. Someplace is selling them for 5-15% discount in bulk but I cant remember the site. Does anyone remember what site that is?

I guess it's like any product now adays - the name stickered on the can is meaningless as to what company made it. The older ones here in the US were Champ; now they appear to be made by Purolator.

I'm in Canada and NApa gold (wix) is what I use and its the same part number minus the 5 from the front. It's 13 cdn dollars here per a filter! for a dollar or 2 more I can get a K&N :P

I think the site is fleetfilter.com I will have to contact them about shipping costs (which most of the time kills the deals)
