I wonder how it compares to the D+?
D+ = 29.2 g vs Long Life = 22 g of capacity. And up to 10,000 mile OCI for the Long Life meaning the D+ can do what?

This is a PSL clone I suspect.

Interesting shift in marketing as they no longer tout the D+ as a 15,000 mile filter, in fact this appears to be the only one with a mileage claim now. But they have shifted to the capacity to hold dirt.

The D+ is supposed to hold more dirt (29 grams vs 22 if I am reading right) "allowing your filter to perform longer"... Shall we assume longer than 10,000 miles? It seems a vague claim, longer than what?

Only seen these on the website, not real life. Looks like Bosch entry in the synthetic media oil filter market. 99.5@40um not up there with Ultra rated spec. 22g holding capacity is plenty, but less than the 29g BD+. Also wondering if it's just the Bosch version of Purolator Synthetic?

Agree the efficiency spec isn't that great compared to other top tier filters. The Purolator PL is 99% @ 25 microns, so the media must be different between them.

they are surely related...as i've pointed out before, the current version of Purolator is a 50/50 coventure between Bosch, & Mann
