Anyone know if the Bosch 3323 made by Filtech is a 'clone' to the discontinued Honda A01 made by Filtech?

No it's not. It's a name Bosch gave their media even before being made by Purolator, used back when they were made by Champ. No relation to the A01 made by Filtech.

And, I'm thinking the new BP in the updated Silver box may have eliminated the use of the term Filtech for the media.

H and A has the A01 'on sale' for $27.85 a six pack plus $19.40 ground shipping 'sale', $47.25, ~$7.90 each. I couldn't like them that much, but that's just me.

The Honda A01 is not discontinued. Honda always has more than one supplier for parts, so you just don't know what your local dealer will get in. A and H says that they are only selling the A01 currently.

But I don't like the dinky size of the "newer" filters as compared to the first several years we owned our 1997 CRV.
I purchase the 15400-PCX-004 made for the s2000 for our CRV. Same size as original, with a much higher burst pressure.
Overkill? Of course. Peace of mind for the past 305,000 miles? Absolutely.

I'm not sure who was supposed to have said the A01 was discontinued. Certainly wasn't me. My post was in response to the OP's query regarding the Bosch media called filtech being the same as/(clone), or some relationship to, the Filtech made A01, which it isn't. And the media name 'filtech' in the latest Bosch edition may have done away with the use of that term.
