Bosch Distance Plus oil filters exist only on web

Since I have a couple of cars due for an oil change, I went ahead and bought the Syntec/Bosch deal. I haven't installed it yet, but my first impression of that Bosch filter is "Man, that thing's heavy!" Just by the weight, the thing feels like it's built like a tank.

But, at $13, I can't say I'm ever going to buy the thing outside of a great deal like this. I think a good part of the price is the fancy plastic packaging.

Wilhelm_D...That image you link to from Gemanfilters.com is a Mann filter. Are Bosch and Mann the same company now?

Are you saying this might be the Ford Racing FL820S? With the base end mounted bypass valve instead of a top dome mounted bypass valve like non-Motorcraft filters? Same ADBV too?

Anyone know for sure? I'd love to have these as a high performance alternative, particularly when they come with Advance Auto Oil Change Specials. Great deals.
