This BD+ run a little over seven months to 15%MM with some O'R clearance PP 5w20 in 3.0L Accord, removed earlier this month. Same results and specs as the previous D3323 I ran two ocis in same vehicle and posted HERE. This one manufactured in November 2009. Confident could have run it twice, but been in stash awhile have one left from same lot, so replaced with same.

Adbv very pliable and still holding oil in base down drain postion before cutting. As noted in link paid ~$3.50 for these. And in my search for my previous 3323 found a particle count done on another 3323 posted HERE. Any case, again satisfied with the results.

Looks good ... Bosch DP efficiency is basically the same as the old PureOnes I believe (99% @ 20 microns), so low particle count as expected.

I think mine is the same one coming out next week, after the usual 5k interval. The round hole Puros have different adbvs and use the flat spring. The efficiency is 99%@40 microns. somehow the look of that element suggests not a lot of dirt was generated during the 7200 interval. I wonder if these will still be made.

Afaik, it is 99.9%(onbox)@40um. Which would be identical to all the PL14610s I have used. As for it's construction, same as the PL14610/14612 with flat spring bypass. Some applications use a different shaped inlet holes or coil spring bypass, all use a leaf retainer spring. Silicone adbv on PL14459 I used looked slightly different with some columns, but otherwise feels the same. But the BD+ can and baseplate is much more stout than P1. Not that I have a concern or issue with that with any filter I've ever used.

As for it's appearance, used the ZeeOSix method of prep, ie., take a used paper shop towel and wrap the filter for a time, doesn't have to be very long. Helps give a good look at the pleating and of course now the critical seam pleat potting area on Puro products. But this engine is well maintained and pretty clean, there wasn't any noticeable junk in the pleats. Others here now do similar prep on post use dissections now.

Just for comparison is the PL14610 on an 01 Civic I ran to ~7800 miles a few years ago and PL14459 on the same vehicle are linked. Similar appearance and results to the topic filter.

PL14610 ~7800 miles

PL14459 ~5800 miles

Based on the capacity specs and results, certainly a candidate for it. I considered the age of the filter (09) decided to go once. After looking at this one though, not sure what my excuse other than preference would be for not doing it this time.
