Looking for some help with my MK4 escort rs turbo.
It just keeps cranking unless I push the flap down on the metering unit. So no fuel until vacuum sucks plate down which only happend when I push it.
I've swapped and upgraded engines k to ke jetronic.
Done piston rings and re built turbo. Vacuums strong up until turbo ( can't get good feel on bottom hose). Been round car with easy start can find leaks.
Can fuel pressure affect the distributor plate?
I also have a gush of air when the fuel cap comes off like it's not venting air properly. It's got a new tank and pump.
Any help and ideas are greatly appreciated!
