I think the best reference in any Bond film to another Bond film ever was when G. Lazenby said "This never happened to the other guy."
There are several things that bother me about SPECTRE and I will gladly elaborate.
The theme song. Was that Sam or Samantha Smith squealing?
The following contains spoliers, so don't read if you don't want the movie spolied:
That Bond turns out to be Blofeld's adopted brother is farfetched and seem contrived. Did we really need this unlikely connection?
The throwback to the '50s and '70's with a supervillain and his extravagant, if nonsensical, lair, soon to be blown up, is somewhat comforting due to familiarity with the concept, and yet it is also very lame since it's been done and spoofed (Austin Powers) more than enough.
Monica Bellucci. I have nothing against 51 year old women, but that James Bond hits on a menopausal GILF is hard to believe. She said she tought she was auditioning for the part of M. No, darling, they pick actors and actresses who can act for that part.
That Bond does not terminate Blofeld and quits his job (a long vacation, I guess?) is not believable. Killing people is what he does. Now, since Blofeld has been revealed as the grey eminence behind everything in the past three movies, will he remain said player in all future movies? I guess it's okay as long as I don't have to keep watching that devious shrimp Andrew Scott, although I expect him to be back in Sherlock Series 4 next year.
On a positive note, the French chick was better looking and more classy in SPECTRE than she was in MI:4, in which she played an acrobatic assassin in dire need of a parachute.
