Body wash or bar soap?

I use bodywash, seems to keep the shower cleaner. I always get too much soap scum when using bar soaps, have to clean the shower more often. Also bar soap is [censored] when it is worn down, difficult to handle.

Dove body wash, the deep moisturizing kind.

I don't wanna smell like anything. I don't like perfumes or anything.

Could be your water. I spent a week at some family friends house in Montana a few years ago and brought my shampoo and body wash from home, and felt slimy like I couldn't rinse it off afterwards. It was the well water.

Irish Spring or Dial.

I have tried some body washes that were given as a gift - most have way too much perfume in them.

Dove bar soap for the body, and I sometimes use Method foaming body wash as shampoo.

The Aveeno daily moisturizing body wash is one of the better ones I've tried. Good stuff.

Body wash, whatever's on sale. Currently using some Suave for Men that I found in the back of the cabinet under the sink. I

I like using the "cooling" washes in the summer. They have menthol in them and it's nice to shower with that after working on the yard.

I've never liked the excessive, cheap cologne smell of the body wash for men products I've tried. I have a bottle of Dial with "marula oil" (something like that) which has been to my liking. It has a bit of a sweet fragrance to it, but I find it pretty pleasant. It has significantly reduced the itchy skin condition that tends to occur in the dry, winter months.

Also, if you try the peppermint Dr. Bronner's - be careful, it can make certain parts of the anatomy burn (in an intensely pleasant way).

I've been using the super cheap Ivory brand body wash. It works just fine and doesn't have much scent to it. I switched to body wash a long time ago because I found it left way less scum on the tile and door of my stall shower than bar soap did. I use a daily shower cleaner spray every other day and haven't had to clean my shower in years.

If you're using a cleaner spray, doesn't that mean you're cleaning your shower every other day?

Well, you got me! I didn't think of it that way because it's a few seconds of quick misting compared to scrubbing, but you are technically correct.

I've always wanted to try Dr. Bronner's but my local grocer only sells it in a large bottle.

I like Kirk's over Dr Bronner, which I've tried. Bronner is more expensive and overrated. Kirk's 3-pks are at my Walmarts.

If you will notice in my link several posts above, I included a website link to expeditionsoaps.
I suggest anyone here recommending an off-brand soap, include the link please.

It's a fictional soap company from the book/movie "Fight Club"

It was meant as a joke

That brings back memories of one of the most disgusting scenes in movie history - When Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were hoisting the bag of "soap ingredient" over the fence.
