Paid good money to have my pickup repaired. Im underneath it today and see that all the spots where they welded pins to pull dents out are bare of paint on the inside of the panel. Shouldn’t they have painted that? Wont it rust immediately?

As others said, skip the paint and just coat it with a lanolin based undercoating. It would take long enough to rust through that most customers would never know. I imagine they get away with it regularly.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Wipe it down with alcohol and spray it with CRC Marine cosmoline spay . Save yourself the hassle of going back and forth with shop .
I use that and zero worries those will rust if they did not get water on them. Also Fluid Film works too IF you spray twice or dab twice after 3 hour dry time between coats. Fluid Film even takes car washes once it some what dries. As long as it is not in a high load area for the car wash brushes. Nothing beats CRC Marine though.
