Why??? Does this mean the end of BITOG? This place is my second home. I have learned more about lubrication than I ever dreamed. This can't be the end.

Lets Here it from Bob or one of his closest Admins/Moderators first. No sense in getting ideas before the facts. I read the link, but it did not make sense to me what it was for ( I did Not Call the number)So lets wait and see...
It is true, Bob is looking for someone to take over the site, and has someone who is interested. We will keep you posted, Joe

I just talked to Bob and he is selling the Board to one of the Members of the board. Nothing will change from what you see now as far as I can determine.
That is good news. I know Bob had serious health problems, and likely this is good for everybody except purveyors of shoddy products.
I would like to be the first one to thank whom ever it is that is taking over this board and not letting it die. There is so much valuable information on this board and I like many others can honestly say that we have learned a great deal from this board. It is better than any text book.
I hope that Bob is not giving it up due to health reasons. And thank you Bob for starting this wonderful place on the net.

I would like to thank you Bob for what is, as far as I can determine, the best site on the internet to find out about motor oils, oil filters, etc. I personally have never been able to find a better web site.
I hope your heath gets better. I hope you continue to visit the site, whatever it becomes and whatever name it might go by. I don't know if the web site will continue to have the same name, or a different name, or whatever. But regardless of the name, whoever takes over will do well, I think, to keep things much the same as they are now.
The web site now has a very large number of members compared to when I joined. I hope the people who visit the site can show respect for each other and each others opinions.
