BO JACKSON

I was watching the 30 FOR 30 on espn about BO JACKSON. I am old enough to remember seeing Bo Jackson at his height in baseball and LA RAIDERS football fame. Anyone here remember seeing or ACTUALLY see BO JACKSON at his height or grow up around him?

I had Memphis Chicks baseball season tickets before he got called up to the Royals so I saw him quite a few times. Id say he was probably the best pure athlete of anybody i've ever seen before or since.

I remember sitting in the upper deck watching the As playing the Royals and watching Bo Jackson breaking his bats over his leg. Man it was loud.

guy was great, he would break a long run almost every game, if he doesent ruin his hip, he goes down as one of the greats ever in two sports. commercials were cool too

I saw that career ending run. He was amazing.

I saw him out drive Frank Thomas over and over during batting practice before a Sox game. I was a fan of Frank Thomas and expected him to be the star of BP, but Bo Jacksons homers were CRAZY.

I was at his return game for the White Sox when he hit a home run his first at bat. It was awesome! Bo worksout at a local Lifetime Fitness by me, he is in great shape still. His thighs are bigger than my whole body, lol. He is a business owner now and is a true gentleman, one really nice person.

I watched him play @ Arrowhead stadium, he played Left field/center field . great guy.

Yeah, I see he makes his own arrows and is a good hunter. I never really followed Bosworth; he was just another steroid junky with dumb lookin haircuts. Glad BO exposed him aside from running his butt over.

Vincent was a stellar athlete and, as another poster said, a gentleman.

He was not a chest pounding, screaming, look at me, self absorbed, athlete of our times.

Yes Groucho, he was not a idiot or steroid abuser/user, which is why I respect the man. Bosworth and others in that decade were people that thought they were invincible. The home run derby where Ronald Reagan was in attendance was classic!

Not many pro athletes play in two professional sports at the same time.
And not only just on two teams in different sports, but literally at the same time, alternating!
Neon Deion was another.
