I feel unworthy. We only got about 12" in Lancaster, PA. A few miles south and they are almost at 2 feet. My 23 year old Toro CCR2000 ate it up.

My neighbor is normally a crane operator. He's been at the Linc since around 1a.m running a loader.

This game might be the most expensive one of the season.

Wow, yeah I think you are right.

My report on the opposite end of the spectrum:

Just got back from the beach even though it is a "chilly" (by SD standards anyway) 68 degrees. Got some work done and a tan.

Xmas day: Mostly sunny. Highs 63 to 68.

Our misfortune is that it never stays cold enough. Now we'll have endless cycles of just above and below freezing. Thaw-freeze. It be fine if it stayed in the lower 20's/higher teens. It will be somewhat anti-Normal Rockwell-esque for a good while.

..unless we get more.

Same here. And the roads show it. We just got a decent blizzard last week, and temps have been hitting the 40s and 50s, with lows still in the teens at night. The melting snow water fills into every crack in the road, it freezes, and creates potholes that rival bomb craters on the Ho Chi Minh trail.

Welp, I feel happy. I had to blow away a foot or so of dry powder. Waay easier to handle than the usual 30' glop. My ol' Ariens needed a fresh plug to start, but I had one. It complained, but it got the job done. Just Flurries now, I'm hoping wont accumulate.

That's what I heard! I'm from MD (moved to Texas 5 yrs ago) and all my friends have been telling me about it. Meanwhile, I'm outside in a T-shirt cutting grass and hanging Christmas lights because it's sunny and 68degrees! I do miss the snow, but NOT Maryland.

Well. when I get off my duff, I have 2 snowblowers to fix to get ready for the next one. As storms go, it wasn't too bad.

I guess I need to dust off the snow blower. I'll finally get to give those new(er) Dunlop's a decent work out. Both my jeeps are good up to about 24" before you have to work too hard.

Roads? Where we're going we don't need ....roads.

Everyone:

Please ignore everything said, shown, depicted, relayed, or quoted in this thread. We all know global warming is real. Don't let this hear-say and photo-chopped pictures tell you otherwise.

There's nothing to see here.
