I have 1.5 qt (or so) of M1 0W-16 that is leftover from my friend's 18 Camry that he traded in. I would like to blend it with a heavier grade, presumably 5W-30, to achieve something close to a 20wt. The application is my Prius which has a 4.4 qt sump.

What ratio of 5W-30 to 0W-16 should I be using?

The M1 0W-16 is 7.2cst at 100C.

I guess I answered my own question:

The 11.1cst oil is M1 5W-30. This assumes a ratio of 1.5 qt 0W-16 to 2.9 qt of 5W-30.

I think you could also use mobil 0w-40 and use the whole 1.5 quarts and come close. But then you would have some 0w-40 left over lol.
