The Blazer EV has been out for a bit but the SS is here, and I love it! 0-60 in 3.4 :)

I'd probably be willing to give up CarPlay (which I picked the Prologue over the Blazer EV in the first place) to have such a spicy vehicle. The Equinox EV we picked up last week doesn't have CarPlay and honestly, while annoying, it's not as annoying as I thought it would be.

Find me a need for a 600hp SUV.
Find me a need for a $60k vehicle.

Lol, I don't know why you are so angry about this. Yes, your car can charge faster, yes, your car has a higher top speed, that doesn't mean the Blazer EV SS is trash. And even if it is trash (it's not, again, 112mph is good enough for most people, and it would be good enough for me), you don't need to be so rude.

Once again 0-60 and top speed are the first things mentioned.
Car manufacturers making ev's are experiencing the early days of automotive history again. In the early 1900s cars went from low single digit horsepower ie 6,7,8 hp then 10, 20, 40, 50 etc. Winton motor car company at one point had the fastest car available and was $2,000 in the early 1900s. Henry Ford was trying to find investors to fund him. He finally had Winton race him, which as expected took off ahead and was way faster but developed an electrical problem and broke down. The Ford (early model T) ran all day no issue. Ford convinced investors that the fastest car on the planet does no good if it isn't reliable. EV manufacturers haven't really looked back to realize that while 2,000 horsepower is cool, super dense batteries, long life, ultra fast charging, and resistance to hot/cold weather is way more important.

I think Chevy's whole lineup of small to medium size SUVs are the best looking today. I've never used wireless carplay, but I think I really want it.

I think GM really has the most comprehensive lineup of EV trucks and SUVs. If you want a small SUV, you get the Chevy Equinox EV or Cadillac Optiq. If you want a slightly larger SUV, you get Chevy Blazer EV or Cadillac Lyriq or Honda Prologue or Acura ZDX. If you want a really big SUV, you get the Cadillac Escalade IQ. If you want a full size truck, you get the Chevy Silverado EV or the GMC Sierra EV. If you want an off-road beast, you can pick the Hummer EV in SUV or truck form. It's no wonder they are the top seller of EVs excluding Tesla.

It was supposed to be 130. Now? It's literally unable to run at test n tune, lol! Huge fail for GM.

Wonder why they capped top speed at 112?

It has the power though when you need it most.

With GM making their own batteries, would be nice to see them succeed.

I care about a speed limiter driving in Nevada on the 95 approximately 6 times a year passing rows of semis in limited distance passing zone highways like the 95.

I'll keep my foot floored until passing the last one then pop right back and slow down to 80.

Acceleration is great, top speed is a downer but that isnt the big problem.

The big problem is twofold - it's 1000LB heavier than its Tesla counterpart - this goes to handling, brakes and tire wear.
It's notably slower on a multi stop charging road trip. It has 2015 travel times in 2025.

Not having a frunk negates it being a big bigger.

It's a gorgeous car - GM nailed that part.
