Just type at the bottom of the chat window
So, last night's chat wasn't bad, but we could sure use more active bodies to make it more interesting. Some people logged on, but never typed anything - either they couldn't figure it out or were just speechless.
I haven't been to a chat room in years myself.
Anyway, we'll do it again tonight at 10 PM EST. Drop by to say 'hi' if you can.

yeah that's probably better given Helen's comment about BITOG=mod necessary. Better to not go there.

Someone could always set up an IRC chat, and pass it from member to member or something.

It's basically an IRC chat that we are using. The link above just gives you access to it without having to install any additional software/IRC client. The chat room itself is open and available 24x7.
