BG Synchroshift Question???

Does anyone have any technical data on this product or experience using it in a manual transmission? I can't seem to find a product data sheet for it. All I could find was this generic statement...



"BG Syncro Shift is an all synthetic gear lubricant specially formulated for front wheel drive manual transmissions. It does not sacrifice any performance as does engine oil, ATF or conventional gear oil. It provides required thermal stability, low-temperature fluidity, hot rattle suppression, noise dampening at operating temperature, outstanding extreme pressure characteristics, shear stability, smoother shifting characteristics, wear reduction (synchronizer, gears, bearings, shift fork), seal compatibility, and reduced maintenance costs."

Sure sounds good.
There are a bunch of good manual transmission oils nowadays.
But personal feedback is always important. there may be better choices.

TurboLuver: BG used to have a detailed spec sheet on it, so maybe you should look some more, or call BG. I had a printed one from the early '90s until just recently (tossed it to make more room in my files). BG used to be very good about sharing product details.

I had (mostly) forgotten all about this stuff. I just started a new viscosity chart/listing and so I'd be curious as to where this falls in viscosity compared to all the other products.

So, if anyone contacts BG, please post the weight here.

Looked again, no phone number or e-mail address. You have to call a local distributor for technical inquires, my local distributor is a long distance call and I am not going to spend a dime to get info that should be posted on the website or be available via an e-mail.
Says volumes about the company IMO...

You might be able to find a dealer that sells on-line and has an e-mail address.
