So what are your thoughts/opinions on BG Products ATF, specifically their BG Universal Synthetic ATF? I had my wife's Volvo in the local shop today to get a ATF flush and they said they used BG products. I didn't know anything about it but figured I'd try it anyway. I know, I know...none of you would do that. Anyways what do you think? The car shifts fine.

I wonder who blends it for them. Its just another universal synthetic ATF. There are plenty of multivehicle ATFs out there now. IMO, all work extremely well.

What vehicle?

2001 Volvo S40. They said it was OE spec. I'm not too worried about using it but I've never heard of that company before. There aren't many posts on here about them.

BG is a lubricant company located in Wichita KS and their main products have been solvent flushes, flushing systems, and cleaners for auto service shops.

Lately, they seem to be producing and marketing more mainstream automotive lubrication products. As far as I can tell, they blend their own products as they have on-site blending facilities and their own chemists.

I don't work for them, but we once competed with them.
