Another Synthetic vs Dino debate. Where have I seen this before? So...the basic question is what protects your engine better. Until you tear down two similar engines and compare wear results, it becomes conjecture and speculation.

I haven't seen a uoa with convential SM at 12k, where do you get the idea it's possible? Since your arguement is based on this, please go for it and post the results!
Honda says 10k on conventional. I think 2 5k changes of conventional will keep the engine cleaner than 1 of synth. I think 2 10k changes of conventional will keep it cleaner then 20k of synth. Show me the 20k synth UOAs that contradict the 10k conventional SM I posted.
For me, the question of which protects your engine better is a wash, as any good oil (dino or syn) these days will easily do. I switched to full syn for the sole purpose of extending my OCI's.
