Better lighting for the Cruze

Thanks, guys!

I'm liking these headlights. They're pretty good now that they have enough lumens to fill in the beam pattern. Much better than the Fit's headlights now. Hmm, that could be a winter project, a headlight harness for the Fit! I still have a lot of 10-gauge wire sitting around un-used, and the H4 headlights on the Fit use spade connectors that will accept 10 gauge wire without issue. OEM wiring on that car is worse than on the Cruze.

Update:

I'm still really liking the harness, and the headlights. The forward illumination is excellent down the road where it needs to be. It's every bit as good downroad as the HIR bulbs I had in my old Buick, and a bit better to the sides.

I haven't used the fogs as much as I thought I would. Mainly they're used for, well, fog/snow. We haven't had much of either, so they have not been used much. The once a lake-effect snow squall caught me, the fogs performed admirably.

Overall, these have been worth the time/effort to get right. I'd spend the time/effort again.

Glad you're liking the setup! I like my harness a lot, I just wish my Focus had a better beam pattern. Nonetheless, harnesses are a great idea. And although I bought mine instead of making one, it would be a fun project to boot as well!

Another boring update: It still rocks! The lights are still very bright, and are aimed nicely. I had a very dark nighttime drive last night, and seeing how the lights performed made me glad to have done this mod.
