Best vehicle for a person who needs to impress customers?

I feel most women will just look at the MB or BMW badge and still think expensive. The average American doesn’t know you can pick up a 10 year used euro car for $10K. They will still just see the badge.

Just look what middle aged women realtors are driving, and get one of those.
Funny how many see the Amg or M badge and can’t tell what’s the actual M or Amg and which is just the floor mats with the logo

For something middle of the road and inoffensive, you can't beat an Impala or Malibu.
Not in this area, you just look as fresh off the boat as you came from another country.

I'm not too sure if Caddy would work for the 30s crowd (I know it should work for the 60s crowd here), but anything domestic, big, truck like, would probably be a bit non-fashionable in this area. Acura might be OK but they are definitely one slot below Lexus and one slot above Toyota. I'm not sure if people are impressed by E class or 5 series here anymore, they are sort of common and people wouldn't think you are flashy if you drive those, but they wouldn't look down on you if you don't have one either.

I think the range would likely be somewhere between a well maintained Camry / Accord all the way to a E class / 5 series / Model S in a fashionable brand, clean, well maintained.

Just to pick a real example from my life:
A neighbor bought a 1950 Buick 4 door something. It features a "Sit-and-Roar" transmission.
Do up one of those show style and BLOW YOUR CLIENTS AWAY for little money.

Serious answer...

High on options. Low on bling and brand. Buy a used Mitsubishi Outlander with leather seats and a solid maintenance history.

Keep it clean and waxed. That will do fine and won't hammer his wallet like a Toyonda (Toyota/Honda) or a prestige brand.

MDX or RX. Many women like sitting high, even as passengers, and graceful ingress/egress is easier than in a sedan or wagon. These two choices are not ostentatious and show respect for one's own dollars.

rolls royce phantom. even aliens visiting from the sloan great wall 1 billion light year away would be impressed.

Honestly no one cares, as long as it is clean and well maintained. Nothing with accident damage, mismatched wheels, filthy dirty or looks like a hoarder lives in it.

Most women don't know $30k from $75k... in cars.
New, clean and comfortable with a pleasant color is all they care about.
And don't bloviate about yourself for hours.

The ES is good if clean. Newer ES would be good also if too many cheerios in back seat.

VW Passat is always a nice car, or Jetta GLI.

But i agree with others, so long as it is clean on inside and out, that will probably be good enough. Most people don’t care, unless its memorably gross.

Maybe he can stock it with RC Cola and some Moon Pies. Dames love that stuff.
I see you're more of a 89 Caravan kind of guy.

women in their 30s, not 70s!!!!
From the 1930's?

This. My 05 Scion, when it came out and I was a single man was impressive even years later I would get compliments because it was clean. "Is this new?" is a question I would get occasionally. Little did they know they were sitting in a $17k car that every teen age girl purchased 6 months after it came out.

Shows you are successful (and also can carry things if needed).

Success breeds success.

Why is this an issue for you to worry about?

This is "your friend", but you have NO IDEA what he's selling/doing. Got it.
