best redline for 96 landcruiser?

I recently bought a '96 landcruiser that is due for diff and transfer case lube change. The redline tech recommends the 75W90NS (for non-limited slip diffs) while most of the guys who post online use the 75W90 (not NS- ie for limited slip diffs). The truck is full-time 4wd and has a lockable center differential. The FR and RR differentials are not limited slip, but do have a factory built-in electronically actuated locking mechanism.
I'm not sure who to believe- the guy who knows the product or the guys who drive their trucks everyday. Or is there such a small difference that it doesn't really matter and for convenience sake just use the 75W90 in both pumpkins and the trans. case.

The friction modifier won't hurt. If your diffs had clutch packs then you would need the non-NS version or added FM. Since they don't either will be fine.

Redline 75w90 is easier to get a hold of than the NS stuff and having the modifier sure cant hurt!

Um, guys, wouldn't the non-friction-modified version have a lower coefficient of friction ... and thus give better wear protection?

Correct me if I'm wrong but friction modifiers can go both ways ... increase or decrease friction.

I think the slipperiness of the non-FM formula is what makes them incompatible with limited slip diffs. They are too slippery for the clutches which need friction to work.

For metal-gear-only applications, I would prefer the slipperiest stuff available.
