Alright guys, what’s the end all best open end wrench available? I’m tired of mine always slipping with any decent amount of toque.

Currently running a Bostitch set and they are certainly better that the HF ones before…. But there has to be something worthwhile without breaking the bank? Would Tekton be a significant improvement?

Why an open end wrench? Why not a combination wrench?

If you're going to buy and open end wrench, you might as well buy and angle wrench that will also help with hydraulic lines.

To answer your question though, the best open end wrench is going to be a Snap-on. I'm a fanboy with no shame. 😁

From many other conversations I might add the Icon ones to this. Lots of comparisons on line for them vs Snap On with the benefit of the easy to use warranty if something happens.
Easy to use warranty? You have bring the entire set of wrenches back to Harbor Freight and then pay a restocking fee if you want your money back. With Snap-on, I call up corporate on the phone and give them the part number. A new wrench shows up at my door two days later. The best part about it is the wrench is made in Tennessee by hard working red blooded Americans.

I'm going off of reports from others. I don't own any of them currently. IIRC the experiences shared did not say you have to bring the whole set back, just the bad/broken item, YMMV.

Some of us are on Miller High Life budgets vs Dom Perignon no matter where that is made. Great to support USA manufacture. Wright tools as mentioned are made in Ohio.

OP said without breaking the bank. He also said end-all best open end wrench.... best wrench is debatable, breaking the bank isn't, Snap-on owns that.
The OP never mentioned a whole set. He asked for the best open end wrench available.

A single Snap-on wrench in the desired size is not going to break the bank. Hue Haw! 😂

Craftsman, snap on and even NAPA make a good wrench. Myself , I like my Western Auto set of open end wrenches my father bought me when I was a kid. They are thinner than others allowing them to work in tight spaces.

Totally false info there! If you want to return the whole set because one is damaged or broken you can and they will replace it on the spot.
If you want a single under warranty they will either open a box in stock and hand it to you or they will ship one for free with just a phone call. HF has one of the best warranties in the business with their Icon and Hercules line.

It’s rare that I use an open end wrench. I might after breaking a fastener lose with a closed end or after breaking a fitting lose with a line wrench. The last combination wrenches that I bought were Kobalt. They’re not the wrench for professionals but they’re ok for my garage projects…
