The best plug I've used/use in my 2-stroke Lawn-Boy is a Champion EZ Start. Its better, longer lasting than the factory NGK

Give it a try. I've used them in chainsaws and weed eaters before. I couldn't tell that they were any better or worse than Bosch, NGK or Champion plugs I've also ran. I just stick with Champion now since they're the cheapest and I've noticed no performance difference between brands.

2 strokes can run at crazy high RPM. Some just dont run right with the wrong plug. Stick with OEM, if its Champion or NGK. If its a Chinese plug, I'd cross it over to the equivalent Champion or NGK.

Forget what you have heard and just use it. I'm sure it will ignite. You've probably heard from the same people who blindly say NGK NGK NGK because thats what they've heard.

Champion seems to work fine in simple OPE. I'm sure the E3 will be fine too. I would never pay a premium for one but if I had it I'd use it.

I always use a Champion in all my small engines, which is OEM for most makes. No need for any so called "high tech" expensive plugs.

+1 I tried an E3 and it did diddleypoop. Stick with the OEM and clean/gap it seasonally.

I've always had great results with Champion or NGK for 2-stroke applications.

E3s are gimmicks. Maybe it will work for you, but it isn't going to be better than the proper plug specified in the owners manual and it very likely will be worse.

Plugs are really easy. Get your owner's manual, find out what NGK plug is recommended then go out and buy it. Very simple.

I say NGK because that's what I've used over the last 30 years and they consistently work. I've used every major brand over those years. Champion, AC, Autolite, Bosch etc. In particular I really wanted to love Bosch plugs for a number of years. And while all those vendors make some very good plugs, I haven't had the consistently good results that I've had with NGK.

I'm sure NGK makes the occasional dog plug ... all manufactures do .... but so far I haven't found it.

On the other hand, I've known plenty of people that have used E3 plugs and have had issues with them. They are a gimmick, plain and simple.

Use what you will, I don't care.
