You didn't say if your consuming any more oil on a monthly basis although I'll bet you are.
Maybe you should consider rebuilding the engine???? With that many miles your probably due assuming the body and such is still in fantastic shape.

my engine doesn't use any oil at all, actually.
the same goes in as comes out, and i have never had to top off between oil changes, check it every time i gas up.
