Got a cheap borescope as a gift last Christmas. It's "ok" but low end and doesn't take photos or videos.

Amazon has a few under $100 offerings
Vevor and Kaiweets

Anyone using either?

Any better ones for under $300 ?

Thanks
The cheapo that I got as a gift has a tiny camera. Too bad it doesn't take photos and the image is sub par.
Still, VERY small camera.
Hope that doesn't mean what I have is as good as it gets
What are you looking for?

I have this one - it cost $45. It will take picture if you add micro SD. Won't win any awards but it was good enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CT2CX59S

Now if you really want good resolution, I am sure there are many better.

I'm also looking at the dxztox for $149.00

Pf says it's overall the best image for inside cylinders which is often where I'd need it.

DXZToz or Vevor.....

This is a case where I would trust project farm. He’s tried them out. He’s used them the way you use them. For this application project farm is a solid recommendation.

In general Vevor is sketchy.

It won't apply to inspection cameras but check out Den of Tools on YT for some interesting wrongful death lawsuits and Vevor is being pretty shady about it.

They're trying to produce (brand) EVERYTHING from baby stuff to textiles to home goods to sporting goods to tools. So, they may be getting their inspection camera from an "ok" China factory, or not.

My local pawn has decided to try to "carry" their stuff as a staple product line. The plasma cutters and welders look SKETCHY. Actually that was an understatement, lemme try again: the plasma cutters and welders look super uber mega sketchy to the tenth power.

Their hand tools and ratcheting wrenches look like HF from ~20 years ago.

I bought a few diesel heaters from Vevor and while I have not used them, I did fire them both up for a 15 minute test run and they did well.

They "seemed" better made and better designed than the usual ones I see on Amazon and ebay. VERY well designed and convenient features. But that's all I can speak of because that's all I've purchased directly from Vevor.

I have no doubt what you're saying is accurate.

Both of mine are Teslongs and both were under $300 off of Amazon. The have great pictures and record video. One has an articulating head and the other doesn't.
