108 cu in V-Twin with 74k. I have used Bosch, Wix and Purolator PureOne most recently. Not sure who makes the Polaris filter which is now used in Indian. Any input is appreciated, I use the Purolator in car, SUV and Motorcycle using T6 for Victory and Pennz Platinum for vehicles.

I used Fram TGs on my 106/6 XCT.
Honestly, these engines aren't particular about the filter. Any decent one will do.

No Victory experience myself, but for bikes I have always been an OEM fan... Really, just posted here to say nice bike, good taste (Wish Polaris didn't let them go idle, maybe they make a comeback next day like Hummer)

There are no OEM filters. in most cases. There are just filters with OEM branding. Seems to me there's no risk in cutting out the middle man and buying straight from the filter maker.

Seems the only risk is getting the wrong filter. Or one that doesn't meet the factory specs. At least buying a filter from the dealer assures you'll get the proper one. I could buy filters at the local auto parts store and hope it's the right one, for the same price as the Harley dealer. Hmm?, which is the safer bet?.,,,

I don't think filter makers are in the habit of keeping their applications a secret.

Let's say Wix makes the OEM Harley filter. You don't think searching for Harley applications with Wix will give you the correct filter? I suppose it's possible, but it seems low risk to me.

But I'd agree, it's even lower risk to buy the OEM packaged one.

It's always been a mystery who makes the Harley filter. It does seem like a rock solid filter. Much like a WIx but they are not the same. I can confirm that by the Harley filter wrench. The Wix or any other brand I tried doesnt fit properly.
I used HD filters exclusively, some Wix, some HiFLo and lately just a plain old Fram orange can.

I don’t know if you remember Jay Buckley (@Motorking). He was a FRAM rep who posted on here years ago. A really nice guy. I exchanged emails with him and he told me at that time that FRAM was making the OEM Harley filters. He’s the one who told me to run the FRAM Ultra XG3614 on my Harley instead of the OEM filter. I’ve cut both of them open and they are very similar.

Someone posted on here recently of a Harley OEM filter that is now made by MAHLE in India.
