Hi, I'm pretty much sold on Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 10w-30. Now that walmart carries K&N oil filters I've been looking at the K&N Wrench Off Oil Filter but so many people on here say it's [censored]. I've looked inside it at the store and it looks well constructed much like the Mobil 1 Oil Filter. My size is made in Mexico. I don't see the difference in where these are made since it's all done by machines to specs by the manufacturers.

Not anymore they're not.

Fram lost the K&N contract a couple years ago, so now they're outsourced to a Korean company that makes them in Korea and Mexico.

The old K&N was the same as M1.

Go to Carquest and pick up the Carquest Red made by Champion Labs. Cheap and more than adequate for a 5K OCI.

I bought a whole bunch at CQ in Minneapolis area last month for $1.97 each. Can't really find a better deal anywhere else.

Doesn't your owners manual spec 5w-30?

Its takes a small 6607 sized filter. I would step up to the 7317 sized filter.
Cheapest major brand is fine for a 3750 interval. I'd use a synth media filter if you plan on going 7500 miles.

Is it the same company that makes the Hyundai and Kia Filters because those filters are some of the best made anywhere and they are made in Korea.
