Thanks Zee - I had my brain on backards.What you have is a "cartridge" style filter. A "canister" filter is a metal can, spin-on style filter.

. It is addictive . O.C.A.. +I have driven over 2 million miles in my lifetime with no engine failures on cars up to 525000 miles . All this BS on here shows me that 98.87% of bitog members haven't a clue about oil and filters and the more you dissect it , the less you really know .

A few of their regular filters are still metal core I believe unless they finally changed, and they offer "Ultraguard Gold" line for around $8E CORE nowadays.
