Best Dexron VI for GM ( BMW E90 )

I guess mixing ATF's is ok ? Dexron VI different brands ?

Amsoil ATL
Redline D6

Any other choices ?

I have used Redline gear fluids with.much success in BMW 5spd/6spd manuals and autos, street and track.

I don't think that Dex 6 by Valvoline is available in Canada.

I was under the impression that DEX VI certification was more about strict adherence to a specific formula of base oils and additives than meeting bench test specs.

Mixing ATF....that's a good question. Under most circumstances, they "should" be mixable....but I don't know if I'd go mixing a boutique like Redline or Amsoil, with Valvoline, SuperTech, etc...you pay for a good boutique, may as well "top off" with boutique

Problem solved .. this transmission is not GM as I was thinking but ZF so it needs the Shell M-177... or Redline D4
