Best Cheap tire brand

Any other brads that make a good budget tire? It would be nice to continue this thread and see which brands don’t need a ton of weight to balance

I dont go cheap on tires and brakes....
I don't either but my tires don't age out typically. I could see someone who expects their tires to age out but is not planning to use the tire to it's max cornering/stopping/weight/whatever not wanting to spend more than they need to. If I owned a beater that was used only around town I'd be tempted to go cheap too.

For off road or higher performance or general all season ?
I’d say more so all terrain like an AT3 or AT4 type tire

the stuff made by Sailun and Sentury seem to get mostly very good reviews so that would be brands like Blackhawk, Delinte and Arroyo... and then another brand called Armstrong made by another manufacturer.

I replaced my CX-5 Toyo's with Pirelli but if I was looking to spend less than Pirelli I'd probably just do the GoodYear's that come up at Walmart every year around Black Friday etc... pretty cheap.

I put Black Lion on my camper van because the dealer rolled out a Black Lion and a Michelin. Side by side you could tell no difference. I have had them now for 3 years and they have been great tires. He told me haven't had any come backs on them. He was a great person to deal with but he retired.

A friend put a set of those on a 1998 Explorer 2WD. He likes them, they replaced 10 year old Michelins that had plenty of meat left. Made by Omni United in Thailand, GFG Design tread.

Omni doesn't make anything afaik.. they are like the tire version of Premium Guard filters in the U.S but operating out of Singapore... They just contract out to who can produce at that time based on their objectives......I just checked several Mohave Highway Terrain that were made within the last year and some are coming from the CEAT factory in India and some are coming from the Prinx factory in Thailand.

Another one under Omni is Radar Tires.. same thing with them . I just checked several recent make tires and they are also mostly Ceat from India and Prinx from Thailand and a few from Shandong Rubber in China. I know Omni puts "Designed and Produced by Omni United" on the sidewall but that is misleading because they don't produce anything unless they actually own these companies like CEAT and Prinx but afaict there is no Omni United factory anywhere. .. another Radar Dimax I just checked made within a year and a half is coming from Sentury in Thailand.

And I just checked another one of Omni brands called "Patriot Tire". .. Brand new just checked out with Sentury out of Thailand.

The only truly terrible tires I've bought were multi-mile all terrains. Sailun and GT Radial are quite good in my experience.
Also nearly new take offs from new trucks would be pretty good as well! I've never had a bad experience with used tires I've bought, but I have walked away from a couple sets that weren't what they advertised so I never go far to look at a set of used tires.
