Name and reset are really what concern you? Lol

I could look past a dumb name if there were other things I liked about the gun. In the case of that Ruger, it's a pretty uninteresting gun, all around.

That is about 5 to 10 times the round count most pistols owned by most people, would ever see anyways. Especially in a budget gun...

That being said, I don't think it would catastrophically fail to the point where it would "only last" however long anyways. The aluminum locking block/front frame rail assembly may wear down but it is easily user replaceable. On top of that, all of the typical wear items are easily replaceable just like any part from Ruger.

this taurus model 85 38sp steel, not airweight, was gently used for $180. i've put 300+ various rounds through it in the past few weeks with zero issues. handy, reliable, pleasant, it is a great value. p.s. sorry about tilted photo but this taurus is a straight shooter.

The Canik TP9 is good the quality is very high on them, you get get them in the $300s brand for the basic model. Even the base model is very well equipped. It is as modern as any 9MM pistol out there in my opinion.

Can't believe no votes for the M and P series by Smith and Wesson. For concealed carry, you can't beat a shield. Shot mine today, very smooth and reliable action with great handling.
