Beck Arnley Oil filters

Have any of you ever heard of these oil filters? I went to the Napa auto site and they are selling these filters called "Beck Arnley" Premium type filters for $12.99. And are warrentied for 12months or 15,000 miles...

i heard of them. they make brakes and stuff too. why dont u just go with like napa gold/wix?

Too bad that my owners manual doesn't allow me to challenge BechArnley on the 15k mile change intervals.
Use a cheaper filter and change more often!

I've also noticed that two different auto stores around here use Bec/Arnl as the higher end product.
Time to buy one and murder it up for comparison. I wonder who makes/rebadges the BA filters.

Is the 12 months/15,000 a warranty to cover any burst or failure, or a change interval ? -Joe

Beck/Arnley is not actually a manufacturer of automotive products.They are a repackager of automotive products.They were somewhat famous for useing country of origin suppliers.That basically means that any replacement parts for say a Toyota were actually made in Japan for that Japanese car.But after Beck/Arnley has been sold a couple times that all changed and now they source parts from various countries.Many of the parts they they offer were made by many of the manufactures that the OEM's were buying from.In general pretty good stuff as replacement parts go.
