Beck/Arnley & Mann

I noticed something strange this evening. When I look up the oil filter for my 2000 VW Golf 1.8T on Advance Auto Parts' website, a Beck/Arnley is one of the oil filters listed for my car. When I click on the picture, it shows a Mann oil filter. Are these two companies related, or is this just a mistake on Advance's website?

My understanding is that Beck/Arnley is just a parts rebadger that does not manufactuer anything. They just source whatever part from whomever and throw it in a box labeled with their name. Also the picture may be just a file copy with the actual filter shipped from any numerous manufactuers that meet the spec for your filter. I have bought various "Beck/Arnley" parts over the years only to open the box to find, Fram, Purolator, AC Delco and others actual on the physical part itself.
