Battery Recommendation for trolling motor

Hey, I just picked up a small trolling motor. It's a 34 pounds of thrust MotorGuide. What kind of battery do I need for it? It will be pushing an inflatable boat with 2 passengers on average, 4 at most. I know it calls for a deep cycle battery, but how many amps do I need in one?

make your own... A123 Li-ion cells in a series and parallel configuration to meet the voltage.

Just make sure they are charged right...

In general there are two common sizes of marine deep cycle batteries...group 24 and group 27.

Group 24 are usually about 85amp-hours.

Group 27 are usually about 110amp-hours.
