You've got no clue about what's available for the consumer who is looking for 2 stage battery snow blower. Your so stuck on the idea that gas is the only way there's no convincing you otherwise so I'm done. Look at YouTube and realize that battery is an viable option for many people. Multiple hours of charging,nope again showing your lack of knowledge.

The batteries are $400 a piece times 2. Thats alot of gas. A guy on YouTube last year did a comparison of a 2-stage battery powered Snowblower and a equivalent price gas Snowblower. The battery powered one didn't get through a large driveway. Especially when using the boost function to get through deep section's. Batteries need to be at least 4-5 times denser to make it be a worth while investment.

So $800 for replacement batteries. About half the cost of the machine from the beginning. Yeah, that fact is something that I'm sure is overlooked when someone purchases these as well.

Plenty interested in the topic and provided the same useful information that others did. The fact that you refuse to accept those facts has nothing to do with me. Are you finally done yet or do you insist on continuing to be both wrong and not done?

Well, I’ve considered a battery powered 2 stage myself. In my case, it has to do the front walk, back driveway (maybe 25 ft tops) and parts of the driveway after I move the cars.

I’ve got a gas powered Toro, and I haven’t been impressed. And it’s a simple single stage as well.

Will have to take a good look at both…..

I am sure if its a small driveway they are fine, my problem is frontage which gets all the snow from a block long snow plowing piles up. It is difficult to shift sometimes even for a large gas blower.

I got to go look at one of these I’m interested in the build quality of the auger and impeller assembly that’s what separates the good from the bad a lot of times.

Last winter I ordered a Snow Joe, was billed and paid for. They never shipped it, or produced an invoice that shows it was shipped. Took my bank getting involved to get my money back. After that I have no desire to own one.
I ordered one because of some "real" you tube vids with about the same size driveway and it did a great job.

I wonder how it would handle ~2,500sq ft of lake effect snow… but my little single stage Briggs starts on the first half hearted tug of the cord and does okay for the most part.

Electric is the future. I'm tired of changing oil, leaking oil, making sure all the gas is used before end of season, cleaning or purchasing a new carb. Once these come down to mass market pricing, like sub 500 regular and $150-250 clearance I'm all in. I assume if the is designed, not just marketed as 2 stage, their build quality should be equivalent to the gas sibilings?
