I read a thread where "respected members" accused an actual respected member of being a shill when he found that one particular additive cleaned slightly better than the others.

Apparently that personal testimony was not accepted in that case even though it was in a thread being documented with pictures (another holy grail of testing for the same set of attackers).

The insulted member didn't say a word when insulted. He didn't attack those who insulted him even though they were guilty of misrepresenting what he had said solely to attack him personally. He didn't even threaten to close down the thread or cease the testing.

While that member showed a lot of class, many others will simply not share their experiences or document testing if they feel they will be personally attacked by "respected members" rather than receive objective and constructive criticism.

I tried to conduct an honest evaluation in a new to me vehicle that I had no history in so any member considering using the product could very easily just read over my observations and make an informed decision.
Because of tragans obvious agenda his posts are meaningless anyways. His feelings were apparently hurt in the auto-RX threads so he's taken up a campaign to trash mmo and mos2 and whatever else a few of us guys like,and recommend,in an effort to somehow relay how we've made him feel back on us.
It's absolutely hilarious to see. I'm gleefully entertained and thoroughly amused by his obvious actions.
His claim of using mos2,then reporting identical fuel consumption numbers repeatedly raised suspicion in many members minds so they immediately knew his claims of use were bogus and dismissed his claim.
His posts since are obviously an attemp at retaliation for his inserting his foot into his own mouth which he apparently blames a select few of us.
Anyone following any of his posts knows there isn't a snowballs chance in hades of him using mos2 because of his spite for us who like it,and his claims in essence drivel.
So Trav just sit back and watch the show. Who needs TV when this guy is posting comedy gold.

Well I checked TrevorS and your user name was not in the list of User Names for about a month or so. So were you banned for a while? Somebody can leave for a while and not comment here but if somebody's user name disappears I think that is a pretty good indication that the member was banned temporarily. And people get banned here for a reason.

Everybody can see that the same group of people keep showing up again and again if somebody here discusses certain products, such as MMO, Kreen, LM moly, etc. The same group of people attack anybody who says something positive about these products. I think Clevy was trying to honestly describe his experiences with LM moly. What is wrong with that? But the same group of people who attack anybody who discusses certain products in a positive manner promote another product here-a product that is not a site sponsoring product. And that product they like to promote has no more proof of effectiveness than the products they like to attack. By the way I am not saying that TrevorS is promoting that product. Everybody should know who does promote that product.

TrevorS, I have repeatedly stated that I accept personal testimony. You have been waiting for me to comment? I have not said anything wrong here. The first time you attack me I am reporting you to a moderator. I don't know who you are. Maybe you are the guy who keeps getting banned and coming back with new user names. I don't know. But what seems obvious from the above is that instead of offering something useful to the discussion about LM moly you are more involved in trying to find some reason to attack certain people here. If somebody seems to be more interested in attacking somebody rather than being interested in contributing something useful to the discussion of LM moly here than that person's ACTIONS are speaking louder than their WORDS! From their ACTIONS we shall know them.

This discussion was about the testing of LM moly and how it may or may not increase MPG. So maybe the discussion should stay in that area instead of people attacking each other.

Trajan, I come to this website to read about discussions involving motor oils, oil filters, and various other automotive subjects and I check out VOAs and used oil analysis for motor oils and other products so that I can make hopefully informed decisions about which products to use. I like to read the posts of people who have tried various engine cleaners and oil supplements in the Oil Supplements Section. I think those are the reasons most people come here to this website and I think those are the reasons this website exists. I don't think this website exists as a place where people can engage in personal attacks on other people. I have not made any unfounded accusations and this is my second reply I believe in this post.

So I will tell you what I am going to do. I will notify a moderator right now to examine this post. I come to this website because of my interest in automotive subjects and motor oils and not to fight with somebody or be attacked personally or accused of some kind of nonsense. I believe moderators will agree that the purpose of this website is for the discussion of automotive subjects and motor oils and not as a website where people can engage in personal attacks on each other. We will see what the moderators say.
