Baldwin Duel flow filter. C&P

This is another duel flow filter that combines a bypass filter and a full flow filter in the same spin on. Apparently Hastings came up with the idea and now it’s pretty common in heavy duty applications. This filter is off of an International 7300 dump truck with a DT466E engine in it. It was in use for 6 months and 200 hours. It was replaced with a Fleetguard LF9025 and 8 gallons of Schaeffer 15w40.

Which element is the full flow?

Fleetguard has something similar but they used a stacked ultra high efficiency element in the bottom. I posted a virgin C&P of one years ago on here.

I'd say the larger section is the one that flows the most, and the smaller section is the more efficient "bypass" section.
